Treasury Murex Technical Consultant

A leading bank in the UAE is seeking a Treasury Murex Technical Consultant to support the transformation of their treasury division. The consultant will provide both technical and functional expertise to implement, configure, and support Murex solutions within a treasury environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for the Murex system, specializing in areas such as Datamart, MxML workflows, and interfaces.
• Analyze, design, and implement solutions within the Murex platform, ensuring smooth integration with other systems, including trading platforms and data providers.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and suggest improvements for existing solutions.
• Maintain a good understanding of Murex 3.1 workflow and relevant asset classes.

Mandatory Skills:

• Total working experience of 5-7 years.
• Experience with the Murex 3.1 platform and the treasury domain.
• Experience with at least two asset classes: Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX Cash, FX Derivatives, Commodities, Structured Derivatives.
• Strong understanding of Murex modules, including Datamart, Market Data, FO, BO, Risk, and Collateral Management.
• Proficiency in SQL, Unix shell scripting, and Murex APIs.
• Experience with Java, Python, or other programming languages is a plus.
