About the Job:
The company is seeking a Trend Engineer to support the implementation of project-specific cost control and reporting procedures, as well as estimation, analysis, and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements. In this role, you will prepare cost studies, cost trends, and develop and implement project requirements for cost control. Your analyses will provide innovative solutions to cost engineering challenges.
This position allows for part-time teleworking under the global telework policy; however, it will require at least four days of in-person attendance each week at the assigned office or project. Weekly schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.

Major Responsibilities:
- Record, monitor, and report on trend detections to the project management team.
- Forecast cost and schedule impacts on budget resulting from trends and suggest mitigation plans.
- Assist in the analysis of change-related initiatives or work planning requiring detailed change assessments.
- Support the overall trend program schedule and initiate trend focus meetings.
- Prepare and analyze comparisons of scope, quantities, and cost data across projects.
- Perform productivity analysis of construction operations and verify results.
- Develop innovative techniques to fulfill specific needs as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience, or 12-14 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Knowledge of estimating methods, quantity takeoffs, statistical analysis, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with the company's internal estimating software.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is required.
