ABOUT THE ROLE
The Turbojet Testing & Engine Assembly Leader is responsible for leading the assembly, testing, and development validation of microjet engines. This role oversees a team of technicians responsible for engine assembly and test execution, ensuring that all activities are performed safely, efficiently, and to the required engineering standards. The position plays a critical role in supporting engine development by planning and managing test programs, analysing results, and communicating technical findings to engineering and program management teams.
The role involves working closely with Technical Leads, SMEs, and technicians to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient Turbojet Testing and Engine Assembly.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Engine Assembly and Testing
Lead the assembly, testing, and development validation of microjet engines.
- Supervise the Assembly and Test Team
Oversee a team of technicians responsible for engine assembly and test execution.
- Ensure Safe and Compliant Operations
Ensure all assembly and testing activities are performed safely, efficiently, and to the required engineering standards.
- Plan and Manage Test Programs
Plan and manage engine test programs to support engine development.
- Analyse Test Results
Analyse results generated from engine testing.
- Communicate Technical Findings
Communicate technical findings to engineering and program management teams.
- Collaborate with Technical Stakeholders
Work closely with Technical Leads, SMEs, and technicians to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient Turbojet Testing and Engine Assembly.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Qualifications
- PhD degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
Experience
- Experience in test engineering or test operations
- Aerospace or propulsion testing experience preferred
- Experience working in a structured engineering or industrial environment
- Familiarity with instrumentation, data acquisition systems, or control systems is advantageous
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Practical, hands-on engineering mindset
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and test documentation
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced test environment
