Key Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with client leaders, engineers, and analysts to define data needs, business objectives, and success measures.
- Identify, collect, prepare, and explore structured and unstructured data sources.
- Develop, evaluate, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms, including natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI applications.
- Build and manage data pipelines and the overarching data ecosystem to support models in production.
- Create dashboards and visualizations that effectively present insights to clients.
- Articulate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
- Work with engineering and product teams to deploy solutions in cloud environments.
- Contribute to business development through opportunity identification, proposals, and client presentations.
- Develop and contribute to internal accelerators and data science assets.
- Perform other delegated duties as required.
As part of a diverse and motivated team, you will engage in various projects covering topics such as:
- Predictive analytics and machine learning for business decision-making.
- Natural language processing and generative AI use cases.
- Data platforms, pipelines, and visualization.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Statistics, or Engineering).
- 4 to 6 years of experience as a data scientist or in a similar applied machine learning role.
- Proficient in Python and SQL, with a solid understanding of machine learning and statistical techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in transitioning models from exploration to production.
- Experience with data acquisition, exploration, modeling, and evaluation on large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Knowledge of data pipelines and data ecosystem management.
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience in presenting results to clients, showcasing strong problem-solving and business acumen.
- Certification in AI/ML, data science, or a cloud platform is a plus.
- Management consulting experience is not required.
- Professional proficiency in English is a must; Arabic is a plus.
- Must be based in the UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi).
