The HSSE Officer is responsible for enforcing and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards across all assigned sites. What You Will Do

Loss Prevention

  • Increase hazard identification and reporting by 65% through regular inspections and meetings with Site Safety Committees.
  • Achieve a 45% reduction in preventable incidents by implementing corrective and preventative measures.
  • Ensure all identified hazards are addressed promptly to prevent loss of life, assets, or reputation.
  • Participate in HSSE Compliance Audits and record findings on the 'Site Compliance and Hazard Tracker'.

Security Management

  • Ensure efficient security operations by conducting daily verifications and implementing penalties for SLA discrepancies.
  • Conduct surprise site visits to ensure compliance with deployment risks.
  • Achieve a Security Competency and Quality score of 75% by December 2023.

Emergency Preparedness & Response

  • Manage and improve sites' compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Conduct monthly Fire Safety Inspections to maintain compliance status.
  • Organize and supervise Emergency Evacuation Exercises for all sites.

Documentation & Inventory Management

  • Maintain updated HSE records, including site documents, certifications, and equipment inventory.
  • Ensure emergency procedures and plans are communicated and acknowledged by all personnel.
  • Support HSSE Compliance Controller by updating administrative records.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay updated on local and federal regulations to ensure business compliance.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure 3rd party work complies with safety standards.
  • Facilitate business operations by preventing HSSE-related violations.

Learning & Development

  • Seek training opportunities to improve HSE knowledge and drive personal growth.
  • Get accredited as an Incident Investigator and attain necessary certifications.
  • Achieve average scores of 70% or more in HSSE assessments.

What Qualifies You For The Role

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sustainability, or a related scientific field.

  • Fluency in English for internal operations; fluency in Arabic for communications with Government Authorities.
