About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for translating product requirements and user research insights into effective design solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure user-centered outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements and user research insights into wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Create and iterate on screen designs across web and mobile platforms, ensuring visual consistency and adherence to the design system.
- Conduct and participate in usability testing sessions, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle to align design solutions with technical constraints and business requirements.
- Contribute to and maintain the design system, ensuring component documentation and pattern consistency.
- Participate in design reviews, presenting work to peers and stakeholders and incorporating constructive feedback.
- Stay current with UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices, bringing relevant insights into the team's work.
Qualifications & Experience
- Less than 2 years experience will be considered as part of the Future X programme.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, visual craft, and user-centered solutions. If joining as part of the Graduate Trainee programme, examples of experience from university degree or internships are expected. A keen interest in UX, UI, and Product Design is key to success.
- Proficiency in using Figma to create and deliver designs as well as prototypes.
- Solid understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, and accessibility standards.
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile product teams is preferred.
- A design thinking and problem solving mindset – approaches challenging situations proactively.
- Ability to work well with ambiguity.
- Solid time management – able to manage many simultaneous requests/demands and plan accordingly.
