We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Drone Assembly Engineer to support the assembly, integration, testing, and quality control of UAV/drone platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, and electronic components for UAV and drone platforms.
  • Perform wiring, cable routing, connector installation, and hardware integration with a high level of accuracy.
  • Carry out soldering activities involving electronic components, PCBs, flight controllers, power systems, connectors, and related hardware.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
  • Conduct initial hardware inspections, functional checks, and basic troubleshooting of electrical and electronic components.
  • Support pre-flight inspections and quality checks to ensure assembled systems meet required technical and safety standards.
  • Identify basic hardware or connectivity issues and support troubleshooting and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, inspections, testing, and technical work completed.
  • Follow established engineering, manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures throughout the assembly and testing process.
  • Work closely with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to support prototype development and production activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to assembly processes, quality, efficiency, and technical practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, electronics assembly, hardware integration, UAV/drone systems, robotics, aerospace, or similar engineering and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience in the assembly and integration of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Strong understanding of basic electronics, electrical circuits, wiring, connectors, and hardware components.
  • Proven experience with electronic soldering, including working with PCBs, electronic components, connectors, and wiring assemblies.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic and measurement tools such as multimeters and precision measurement equipment.
  • Experience using workshop equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.
  • Ability to perform basic electrical, electronic, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • High attention to detail, particularly when working with precision components and complex technical assemblies.
  • Good understanding of quality control, safety procedures, and technical documentation requirements within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Previous hands-on experience with UAVs, drones, robotics, aerospace systems, or other advanced hardware products would be highly advantageous.
