Responsibilities
- Conduct all on-site life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related service activities for installed fleets.
- Supervise the construction and commissioning of both new and existing equipment at customer sites.
- Perform onsite machining, non-destructive testing (NDT), blading, winding, critical welding, and generator diagnostics.
- Make engineering decisions related to service activities as required.
- Develop a conceptual understanding of the professional discipline, potentially supporting specialized roles with technical knowledge in a broad area.
- Apply general knowledge of the business gained from education or prior experience, understanding how the team's work contributes to the overall area.
- Resolve issues utilizing established procedures, consulting with supervisors or more senior team members for guidance on matters outside of defined instructions or parameters.
- Collaborate with team members to address and solve issues effectively.
- For customer-facing roles, cultivate strong customer relationships and act as the interface between customers and the company, effectively exchanging technical information and ensuring understanding.
