What You'll Be Doing:
- Liaise with all relevant agencies/authorities and the client team to obtain necessary approvals and NOCs.
- Attend kick-off and coordination meetings and provide support during the NOC process to the design team.
- Produce utilities drawings and cross-sections.
- Utilize software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads.
- Monitor progress of drawings and documentation for NOCs.
- Support the project team in seeking approvals and coordination with client dealings (both internal and external).
- Track utilities NOCs and ensure timely completion.
- Monitor project schedules regularly to identify any delays or deviations related to NOC progress.
- Participate in project design meetings and recommend necessary improvements.
- Collect information from relevant agencies, third-party consultants, and contractors to prepare reports and design drawings.
- Attend project meetings and follow up with outstanding tasks.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in NOC/Utilities role, preferably in the infrastructure industry.
- Proven experience in dealing and liaising with government authorities in Dubai and Northern Emirates and their NOC system.
- Familiarity with utilities drawings and cross-section standards.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; Arabic would be an advantage.
- Must have a UAE driving license and car, as this position involves traveling to government offices and service authorities regularly.
