As a Design System UX Designer, you will define, evolve, and advocate for consistent use of the design system across our products. This role requires collaboration with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and brand principles into reusable components, patterns, and guidelines. You will champion design system best practices, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Build and evolve the company's design system, focusing on adoption, consistency, scalability, and accessibility across products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into design components.
- Design and document UI components, design tokens, and interaction patterns.
- Advocate for accessibility, performance, and scalability in design decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends to ensure innovation while maintaining coherence and performance.
What We Are Looking For:
- Relevant experience in UX/product design with a strong emphasis on design systems in complex environments.
- A portfolio showcasing expertise in design systems, including component libraries and documentation.
- Exceptional educational background in design or a related field.
- Proficiency in Figma, Storybook, and design token workflows.
- Proven ability to collaborate with engineers and communicate design decisions effectively.
- Attention to detail and a systematic approach to design challenges.
- Willingness to travel up to four times a year for internal events.
