In this role, you'll join our design team, which aims to transform complex, open-source software into efficient, intuitive products for enterprise IT. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to shape the future of developer experience while supporting complex products through design and UX heuristics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build tools for software development, packaging, and maintenance, with an emphasis on open-source solutions.
- Collaborate to evolve and promote design systems for consistency and efficiency.
- Support complex product designs and contribute to a horizontal effort in Canonical design.
Requirements:
- Exceptional academic record, with a Bachelor's or equivalent in User Experience, Design, or STEM, or a compelling narrative about an alternative path.
- Knowledge and passion for user experience, technology, and design.
- Commitment to continuous learning and a results-oriented mindset.
- Confidence in user research practices and engagement with the latest design innovations.
Work Conditions:
Full-time, Remote, with occasional international travel (twice a year for up to two weeks).
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.
