We are seeking a talented UX Designer for Infrastructure to collaborate with our engineering teams at the company. This role involves creating open-source tools for cloud building and cluster management. Our design team is committed to transforming complex software into intuitive products for enterprise IT, and we welcome a user experience designer who shares this vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build tools for customizable cloud experiences (e.g., MAAS, LXD, MicroCloud, the company k8s).
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to shape future Data Center solutions.
- Support complex products through design and UX techniques.
- Evolve and advocate for design systems that promote consistency and efficiency.
- Understand the broader implications of design work and its interconnected constraints.
- Support working groups to enable horizontal design efforts.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional academic record in User Experience, Design, STEM, or a related field.
- Strong interest in building, hardware, and user experience design.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and executives.
- Ability to engage with the latest design research and innovation.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to two weeks for company events.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English, as excellent communication is essential for this role.
