As a UX Designer, you will work within the design team to transform complex, open-source software into efficient, intuitive products that can influence how enterprise IT operates. Key responsibilities include:
- Building tools that enable users to create tailored cloud experiences (MAAS, LXD, MicroCloud, and Canonical k8s).
- Collaborating with product managers and engineers to shape the future of the Data Center and manage self-sovereign clouds.
- Supporting deeply complex products through design and UX heuristics.
- Evolving and promoting design systems for consistency and efficiency in user experience.
- Understanding the interconnected constraints of your work while contributing to horizontal efforts within Canonical design.
Requirements:
- Exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in User Experience, Design, or STEM fields, or a compelling narrative about an alternative path.
- A strong passion for user experience, technology, and design; and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Confidence in user research practices and effective communication with cross-functional teams (engineers, designers, and executives).
- Engagement with the latest design research and innovation, and a result-oriented mindset.
Compensation and Benefits:
