UX Designer - Infrastructure

The company is a leading provider of open-source software and operating systems to global enterprise and technology markets. We are hiring a UX Designer for Infrastructure to collaborate with exceptional engineering teams in creating open-source tools for building clouds and managing clusters of compute globally. Our design team aims to transform complex open-source software into efficient, intuitive products that redefine enterprise IT capabilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Building tools that enable users to create custom cloud experiences (e.g., MAAS, LXD, MicroCloud, and the company k8s).
• Collaborating with product managers and engineers to shape the future of the Data Center: Self-sovereign Clouds.
• Supporting complex products through design processes and UX heuristics.
• Evolving and advocating for design systems that promote consistency and efficiency.
• Participating in a team that supports the company's design initiatives.

Requirements:

• Exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in User Experience, Design, STEM, or a compelling alternative path.
• Passion for user experience, technology, and design.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Ability to engage with user research practices and the latest design innovation.
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks).
