Position

We're hiring a UX Researcher to work horizontally across the company's full product portfolio from consumer apps like Keet, QVAC Workbench, and the company's Wallet, to the developer portals and platforms behind QVAC, Pears, MDK, and WDK. This isn't a typical UX research role. The breadth is the point: one week you're studying how someone in Lagos uses USDt on their phone, the next you're sitting with engineers to figure out the best practice of developer portals. We need someone with genuine curiosity, depth of thinking, and the ability to communicate findings clearly enough that product designers and product managers make better decisions because of them. The goal is simple and never changes: the best possible experience for the user.

Responsibilities

  • Run UX research across the company's consumer and developer products: Keet, QVAC Workbench, the company's Wallet, developer portals, and more
  • Identify UX best practices and emerging patterns across each product category
  • Research competitors and adjacent products to surface how others are solving comparable problems, and where the gaps are
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for product designers and product managers
  • Partner with product teams across all four pillars (Stable Finance, Stable Intelligence, Stable Power, Stable Communications) to inform decisions at every stage of the product lifecycle
  • Build and maintain a research repository so insights compound over time and are reusable across teams
  • Tailor methods to each product qualitative, quantitative, lightweight, deep—whatever the question actually needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UX research experience across consumer and/or developer products
  • End-to-end research chops: defining the question, picking the method, executing, synthesizing, and communicating outcomes
  • Strong command of qualitative methods (interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry) and working familiarity with quantitative ones
  • Working knowledge of at least one of: crypto wallets and self-custody, messaging or P2P, AI applications, or developer tooling
  • Sharp written and verbal communication — able to convert ambiguous findings into decision-ready recommendations
  • Experience with products where trust, privacy, security, money movement, or technical complexity affect the user experience
  • Mandatory AI fluency: you must actively use AI tools to speed up research planning, synthesis, insight mapping, documentation, and reporting, while applying strong human judgment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convert messy findings into clear, decision-ready recommendations for Design, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and leadership
  • Strong product judgment: able to separate signal from noise and identify which insights should influence the product
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving environments where research needs to be practical, focused, and useful
  • Genuine curiosity, critical thinking, and depth of analysis that goes beyond surface-level observations
  • Low-ego collaboration style, with the ability to challenge assumptions clearly and constructively

Bonus points

  • Background researching developer audiences and developer experience specifically
  • Experience setting up UX research practices from scratch or scaling them across multiple product teams
  • Background in fintech, crypto, AI, P2P, or open-source ecosystems
  • Familiarity with privacy-preserving research methods
  • Ability to create low-fidelity prototypes to demonstrate and inspire potential user flow, functionality, and content structure improvements
