As a User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Designer, you will join our User Experience Team, consisting of UX and Visual Designers, to build innovative applications for Desktop, Web, and Mobile devices. Your role will be instrumental in optimizing user interactions with data and software, emphasizing direct manipulation, real-time feedback, and impactful visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Visual Designers to explore and implement the latest Mobile and Web technologies, enhancing user experiences.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, program managers, developers, and quality engineers, to transform ideas into functional products.
- Advocate for design excellence and inspire others by demonstrating the impact of effective design on user experiences.
- Conduct research on new user interface paradigms and assess their applicability.
- Develop wireframes and flow diagrams that simulate user experiences on targeted devices.
- Lead usability studies to gain insights from user feedback for design improvements.
- Analyze market and customer requirements to create core use cases expressed through various media.
- Transform abstract concepts into clear design solutions.
- Maintain compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE), Privacy, and Governance policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Design, or Arts.
- Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience with workflow tools including Axure RP, Keynote, OmniGraffle, and Visio.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with at least 3 years of experience in user interface design and development.
- Ability to learn quickly and contribute ideas in a team environment.
- Solid knowledge of Design Systems and Data Visualization for Dashboard design is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and a customer-centric mindset.
