Key Responsibilities
- Identify sources of value creation for clients and quantify them effectively.
- Serve as a Corporate Finance advisor, leveraging the company's capabilities to assist clients in solving issues and unlocking value growth.
- Advise businesses on valuation matters related to acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings.
- Provide fairness opinions on transactions and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management during acquisitions to assess the impact of acquired intangible and financial assets on accounting requirements, offering fair value opinions for financial reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or engineering, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems, complete challenging projects, and foster client relationships in the Infrastructure sector.
- Experience in reporting to senior colleagues and handling business valuations, capital allocation, and portfolio optimization.
- Strong financial modeling skills, including project finance modeling experience.
- Broad understanding of accounting principles and IFRS standards, particularly related to fair value measurements, business combinations, and impairment testing.
Ideally, You’ll Also
- Have valuation and/or financial modeling experience in professional services or a Big 4 firm.
- Have experience in coaching teams of junior and senior staff.
- Possess experience in the Power & Utilities or other Infrastructure sectors.
- Have achieved or made significant progress toward obtaining a CFA.
