Veeam Backup & Replication Engineer

The Veeam Backup & Replication Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining Veeam backup and replication environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Key responsibilities include performing regular backup and restore tests to validate data integrity and availability, collaborating with Level 3 support and other IT teams to resolve complex backup and recovery issues, implementing and documenting backup and disaster recovery procedures, optimizing backup schedules and storage utilization, providing training and support to Level 1 technicians, configuring backup jobs to meet defined policy, and diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues related to backup and recovery processes.

This role is a full-time on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization. Required Technical Skill Set:

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining Veeam backup and replication administration.
• Expertise knowledge/hands-on experience with the Veeam Backup Solution (Veeam certification is a plus).
• Open to working shifts, especially afternoon and night shifts.

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of automation is a plus.
• Positive attitude and strong communication and presentation skills.
• Highly motivated with good interpersonal skills.
