Job Description:
- Manage and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform regular backup and restore tests to validate data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with Level 3 support and other IT teams to resolve complex backup and recovery issues.
- Implement and document backup and disaster recovery procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Optimize backup schedules and storage utilization to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support to Level 1 technicians to enhance overall team performance.
- Configure backup jobs to meet defined policy and provide data restore within the SLA.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to backup and recovery processes.
Required Technical Skill Set:
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in managing Veeam backup and replication administration.
- Good expertise knowledge/hands-on Veeam Backup Solution. Veeam certification will be an added advantage.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of automation is a plus.
- Positive attitude, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Extremely motivated with good interpersonal skills.
