In this role, you will influence stakeholders at all levels, driving buy-in for your strategic vision, and creating a buying and sourcing strategy for a new category while ensuring flawless execution. Continuous analysis of key metrics will be essential to improve business performance. Your responsibilities will encompass building fruitful vendor relationships, enhancing product selection, managing category profitability, optimizing pricing strategies, and nurturing your team. A passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience for customers is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with external vendors to manage seasonal selection and the long shelf-life Fresh/Frozen space.
  • Forge strategic partnerships and negotiate vendor contracts to establish an effective operating model.
  • Develop the annual seasonal portfolio to drive continuous traffic and engagement.
  • Identify automation opportunities to innovate scalable solutions and enhance key metrics including selection, profitability, pricing, and availability.
  • Take ownership of the P&L for achieving top and bottom-line goals, driving projects that improve profitability with key stakeholders.
  • Optimize assortment and refine inventory mix in dark stores to minimize shrinkage and elevate customer experience.
  • Secure marketing funds from vendors to boost category visibility during business-as-usual events.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Excel.
  • 5+ years in retail, operations, product management, or business consulting, focusing on negotiations and achieving results.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and P&L ownership.
  • Prior experience in vendor management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large data sets to enhance performance and streamline processes.
  • Expertise in driving direction and establishing alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi retail and Quick Commerce market.

Work Conditions:
This is a full-time position.

Language Requirements:
Candidates with experience in environments requiring interaction in both English and Arabic are preferred.
