In this role, you will establish and maintain strong vendor partnerships, manage category profitability, and identify means to improve the customer experience. We are looking for a seasoned business leader with strong analytical skills, the ability to lead and motivate a team, excellent business judgment, and a passion for creating a world-class shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full P&L, including planning, forecasting, and driving growth for the category.
- Execute a strategic business development plan while collaborating with key internal stakeholders.
- Lead day-to-day operational aspects of the business, addressing customer and vendor feedback.
- Set goals and strategic direction for the category, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Represent the company in meetings with senior teams from top vendors, building long-term strategic relationships.
- Drive business improvements and innovations within the category and across the Retail business.
- Collaborate on necessary systems and processes to support business needs, including marketing and merchandising initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting.
- 3+ years of experience with Excel.
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing large data sets to drive performance and process improvements.
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing, promotion, inventory management, and product development.
Language Requirements:
- Must have strong communication skills to represent the company effectively.
