Your mission will be to architect a digital future for Hal, crafting and executing strategies to meet current demands and facilitate future growth. Initially, the role will be hands-on as you set up the technology infrastructure with the intention of building a team of technology professionals as the venture matures; shaping their efforts toward creating value for both customers and the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy:
- Execute the technology strategy aligned with the venture roadmap.
- Create solutions to meet business needs and drive the digital agenda.
- Adopt architectural strategies across all systems to achieve long-term optimization.
- Business:
- Build core technology and team as applicable, overseeing engineering and best practices.
- Provide hands-on technology leadership and define best practices for development and quality assurance.
- Processes:
- Ensure the technology team adopts best practices and technology standards.
- Allocate resources effectively, managing vendors as necessary.
- People & Talent:
- Identify and build a high-quality technology team.
- Set clear expectations and provide ongoing training and development.
- Risk Management:
- Monitor and ensure teams perform to acceptable risk and control standards.
- Manage operational risks and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
