Venue Technician

As a Venue Technician at the company, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of events through the operation and maintenance of audiovisual equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation:

  • Assist in cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping, and repairing equipment prior to events.
  • Ensure flawless execution of events through timely setup, operation, and breakdown of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise.
  • Comply with all company security and safety measures, adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Customer Service:

  • Strive to exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication.
  • Meet with guests on-site to ensure their needs are met and equipment setup is properly functioning.
  • Monitor events and check on clients throughout the day.

• Technical Ability:

  • Demonstrate a basic operational ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment and software issues.
  • Handle equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.

• Systems Knowledge:

  • Follow company processes and complete systems entry and paperwork accurately.
  • Utilize equipment sheets for setup and strike, and interact with staff and vendors as needed.
  • Work with clients to finalize invoices and increase revenue through up-selling techniques.
