About the Role
This role reports to the Chief Engineer and the Head of Engineering, contributing to the system verification and validation (V&V) of a large security system during and after its deployment. Responsibilities encompass the acceptance process with the customer. The position is based in Riyadh, with frequent travel required to locations within Saudi Arabia, as well as occasional international travel.

Person Specifications
The successful candidate shall hold the following required qualifications and should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in the Verification and Validation (V&V) of systems, familiar with applicable INCOSE and international system engineering standards, or holding an ISTQB Certification
- Experience in writing test procedures and test reports
- Experience in detailed planning of work and deliverables
- Ability to work in a customer-oriented environment and adapt to the cultural environment of Saudi Arabia
- Strong analytical thinking and engineering mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong listening skills for understanding customer requirements
- Strong service orientation and focus on on-time delivery
- Sensitivity to cost, quality, and time
- Team player with a cooperative attitude
- Solution-oriented approach
- Flexible and willing to travel to remote sensor sites
- Good written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts
- Essential to be fluent in written and spoken English
- Desirable to communicate in Arabic
Beneficial Qualifications and Experience
- PMP or ISTQB certification
- Strong engineering background in large integration projects
- Experience working directly with customers
- Familiarity with a broad range of information technology systems such as Networking, Storage, Server, Virtualization, and System/Network administration
- Detailed experience in relevant Information Technology and communication solutions
- Driving license
Key Result Areas & Areas Of Accountability
- Collaborate in a team of V&V Engineers
- Actively participate in verification within development teams and oversee software release verification
- Support Test Campaigns for Customer Acceptance Events
- Assist other V&V engineers in extending domain knowledge
- Prepare test documentation (test procedures, problem reports, test reports) during test campaigns and conduct reviews of test documentation
- Perform verification and validation activities at the system level for system/customer releases and specialized test campaigns (load, stress, performance tests)
- Utilize various tools and methods for V&V tasks such as DOORS, Jira, and Quality Center
- Handle problem reporting, including collecting materials for root-cause analysis
- Track bugs and retest fixed issues, collaborating closely with the development team
- Act self-sustainably and function as a team player and team lead
