Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement the department’s data and analytics strategy in alignment with business goals. Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Insights Generation: Lead the analysis of business data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Data Monetization: Identify and evaluate opportunities to monetize data assets, including new products, services, and partnerships. Develop and manage data monetization initiatives, ensuring value creation and revenue generation. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and commercial teams to ensure ethical and secure data usage.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, data scientists, and data monetization specialists. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in data analytics and monetization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business units to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions. Present findings, recommendations, and monetization opportunities to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Performance Measurement: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business and monetization performance. Support the business in achieving targets through data-driven recommendations.
- Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and predictive models. Ensure accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of all analytics and monetization outputs.
- Data Quality & Integrity: Ensure the quality, integrity, and security of business data. Implement best practices for data management, analytics, and monetization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Management.
- 15+ years of experience; a Master's degree in a relevant field is desirable.
- Proven leadership and management skills in a data-centric role.
- Expertise in data analytics, monetization, and governance frameworks.
- Strong business acumen and an understanding of commercial opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with senior leadership.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- A track record of successful data-related projects and initiatives.
