Position

The Vice President, Digital Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring strong program governance across strategic digital initiatives for the Retail Banking Group and overseeing end-to-end digital release management. This global role leads and governs across all regions and markets of RBG Digital by establishing standardized delivery frameworks, controls, reporting structures, and decision-making processes. It ensures alignment with organizational objectives and delivery standards through effective governance forums, executive reporting, issue and dependency management, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination to support successful and controlled program execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee large-scale strategic initiatives across multiple squads, tribes, functions, and markets, ensuring aligned governance and successful delivery.
  • Deliver programs to meet organizational objectives and success criteria, presenting overall status, blockers, risks, and dependencies in regular forums.
  • Perform program management activities such as planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting on status, quality, and risk in an Agile approach.
  • Design and implement policies, processes, and tools to enforce proactive adherence to the Release Management framework.
  • Facilitate release governance meetings and drive decision-making for release readiness, risks, dependencies, and approvals.
  • Ensure all releases comply with organizational policies, audit requirements, security standards, and change management processes.

Requirements

  • A postgraduate degree with 15+ years in diverse banking departments, with strong knowledge of digital and tech delivery program governance.
  • Strong knowledge of operational governance practices including RCSA, SOP management, risk management, audit, and compliance frameworks.
  • Interpersonal skills with good decision-making and communication skills.
  • Excellent program and project management experience in an Agile environment.
  • Strong organizational and presentation capability.

Work Conditions

  • Works in a fast-paced environment requiring quick decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Availability may be required during nights and weekends for deployments outside of normal working hours.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders at various levels within the organization to create good rapport.
