About the Role
We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven individual to join our team as the Vice President of IT Product Delivery – Group Services. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely and cost-effective delivery of IT products and solutions, ensuring operational excellence across various business departments. You will also contribute to the development of IT business strategies for a large group of business departments, aligning them with the overall IT strategy of the Emirates Group, while keeping future growth and technological innovation in mind. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and managing strong relationships with business stakeholders.
- Creating an effective and consistent IT customer experience that meets business needs.
- Driving substantial improvements in business performance and customer service.
- Leading a cross-functional IT delivery capability consisting of demand management, technical product management, agile delivery, software engineering, and systems integration and service management.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish an appropriate and cost-effective 3-5 years technology strategy in line with the Emirates Group IT Strategy.
- Integrate IT strategy into the defined business area to ensure full exploitation and alignment for the Group’s best interest.
- Manage the complexity resulting from delivering solutions for a wide breadth of strategic, revenue-generating, and operationally critical business units within the Emirates Group.
- Develop and maintain highly effective, credible, and influential relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Represent IT in the senior management team of the business area and influence senior business managers on strategic business IT investment decisions.
- Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of the infrastructure.
- Drive a culture of customer intimacy through a business orientation framework.
- Lead the delivery of the business IT annual work programme and ensure financial management of the IT budgets for the business area.
- Identify business performance focus areas, strategic themes, and Portfolio-level EPICS.
Qualifications & Experience
This job might be for you if you have:
- Degree of Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- 12+ years of experience in Information Technology or similar.
- Experience leading functions at a senior level in IT, ideally within a customer relations environment.
- Experience leading the delivery of business IT solutions, ideally in the travel and transportation industry.

- Business change management.
- Relationship management.
- Ability to develop an understanding of the business at a deep level.
