Position

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Group Commercial & ICV & Industrial Development, the Vice President will lead the company’s Market Intelligence function, delivering data-driven insights, analytics, and category intelligence to support strategic procurement and business decisions across Projects, Drilling, and Operations.

Role Requirements

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s Market Intelligence strategy, roadmap, and functional capability to support high-value and business-critical categories.
  • Direct supply market research, data management, knowledge management, analytics solutions, and management reporting to enable informed decision making.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Procurement, Commercial, Finance, Legal, IT, Group Companies, and external partners to shape category strategies and identify opportunities.
  • Oversee market risk assessment, cost optimization, pricing intelligence, supplier market insights, and team development while promoting innovation and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in procurement, market intelligence, supply chain, analytics, technology enablement, or business applications, preferably within Oil & Gas.
  • Proven ability to lead market intelligence, category management, procurement analysis, cost modelling, and strategic sourcing support for complex business-critical categories.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, financial, strategic thinking, negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Experienced people leader able to manage multiple priorities, build capability, drive performance, and deliver outcomes in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
