Position

The Vice President of Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) for CEMEA will be accountable for delivering the regional RaIS Solutions roadmap and ensuring it supports Visa’s aggressive growth targets for Value-Added Services (VAS). This leader will partner with central Product and regional Sales teams to deeply understand regional nuances for VAS products and define the functional, commercial, and regulatory requirements to localize and deliver products for sale to regional clients. This role is essential for close collaboration with both regional and global leaders, focusing on regional delivery of client-relevant Risk Solutions for both the issuer and seller side of the payments ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on a multi-year strategy for the regional RaIS VAS business, considering nuances relevant to the specific region (e.g., issuing & acceptance ecosystem, including non-card rails, local banking regulation, and opportunities for inorganic growth).
  • Closely partner with Global RaIS Product leaders to deliver on-time, on-budget RaIS VAS Products in the region.
  • Create regional product roadmaps in partnership with Central business stakeholders and deliver client-centric solutions that extend Visa’s relevance beyond core network assets.
    • Structure solutions to address challenges among regional RaIS clients
    • Align regional priorities with Objectives and Key Results for Visa’s Global RaIS Solutions business
    • Identify local market changes, client feedback, and product requirements to inform Global RaIS product leaders
    • Deliver best-in-class Products and services that exceed client expectations
  • Drive continuous innovation and outsized revenue growth through disciplined iteration of both short-term opportunities and longer-term big bets.
  • Partner with regional Commercialization leaders to build, execute, and monitor go-to-market motions so Solutions are easy to sell and buy.
    • Develop a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy based on local market needs
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Sales and CS to execute the GTM strategy
    • Structure client implementations to ensure a seamless rollout of new solutions
    • Inform pricing guidelines with market intelligence
  • Architect client-centric joint solutions including build, implementation, and post-launch optimization:
    • Support selling teams in understanding clients’ business and technical needs
    • Link RaIS Solutions with other Visa Product Domains to provide greatest value
    • Work with clients through implementation and post-launch optimization
  • Build and manage a team of RaIS Solutions specialists within the region, which collectively is seen as an indispensable resource to build and sell next generation RaIS Solutions.

Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years with a PhD.
  • Proven track record of B2B product/solutions development, working within matrixed, ambiguous environments, and a deep understanding of fraud and risk dynamics within the broader payments ecosystem.
