The Vice President of Processing & MPMS will focus on all aspects of the business to drive results that fulfill the multi-year P&L objectives, including talent hiring and management, culture, technology, business development, client support, strategy, reporting, innovation, and operational excellence. This role involves managing multiple Processing & MPMS assets of Mastercard, delivering on a robust backlog to extend capabilities while expanding the business to leverage new opportunities across the Middle East Africa. The VP will continually manage prioritization to balance product development, P&L, client support, and Mastercard product enablement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key executive leader and SME for Processing & MPMS, ensuring P&L objectives are met for the business.
  • Build a team and culture to operate in a diverse, inclusive, and agile manner, focusing on speed of delivery, quality, innovation, and client success.
  • Inspire the team to deliver optimal solutions to capitalize on opportunities in the evolving digital payments ecosystem.
  • Be fully accountable for representing the business internally and externally, with energy, enthusiasm, clarity of direction, and a commitment to continually improve KPIs and client performance.
  • Develop and manage the go-to-market strategy, focusing on optimal use cases, global market prioritization, and Mastercard enablement opportunities.
  • Manage prioritization of a complex backlog balancing multiple stakeholder objectives that may conflict. Refine strategy, objectives, and roadmap to differentiate in winning new client deals, informed by industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle; lead teams to ensure requirements are met and issues are addressed as designed.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging; set direction for marketing and sales plans, and create collateral and sales materials.
  • Provide senior management support for key clients and assist with business sales.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership experience in payments systems and processing solutions management, with a focus on issuer processing and network business, as well as P&L and budget management skills.
  • Proven track record of building and managing a diverse, talented team focused on financial results and client service.
  • Effective collaboration skills at all levels while navigating challenges to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Extensive software development knowledge, working closely with product and engineering teams.
  • Experience in developing and managing products and solutions, bringing new products to market successfully.
  • Results-oriented leader with an analytic, fact-based consultative approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels, including executive and C-level management.
  • Capability to manage effectively during crisis situations.
