Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the overall market strategy, industry trends, and customer needs for all segments in the region.
  • Work with the division/market president to prioritize opportunities.
  • Empower Account Managers (AMs) and Business Developers (BDs) to support account planning and opportunity identification.
  • Meet customers to understand their needs and support important pitches.
  • Monitor the utilization of Mastercard products and platforms by customers and take necessary actions.
  • Compile solutions to deliver meaningful value to the Mastercard customer base.
  • Manage the capacity and focus of Solution Architects (SAs), Technical Architects (TAs), and Solution Specialists (SS) within the Customer Solutions Center (CSC).
  • Build agile teams for complex opportunities requiring diverse Mastercard capabilities.
  • Drive enterprise-level pricing approaches and support SAs in developing commercial propositions for complex solutions.
  • Track agile team performance and take necessary actions for improvement.
  • Support the integration of acquired capabilities into the customer solutions center.
  • Share market intelligence to assist in product management and development.
  • Help market development heads with insights on demand for specific solutions.
  • Share best practices across Customer Solutions Centers to enhance customer experience.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of industry trends and market intelligence.
  • Proficient in product technology and APIs.
  • Familiarity with regionally relevant Mastercard products, services, and solutions.
  • Capability to link market developments to implications on Mastercard products and services.
  • Strong analytical and financial understanding.
  • Proven influence and motivational skills to achieve objectives.
  • High energy with experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering commercial performance.
