Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of solution architects across multiple domains.
- Define and promote solution architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to align solution design with strategic roadmaps.
- Oversee the design of end-to-end solutions that balance business needs, cost, scalability, and risk, ensuring solutions follow enterprise architecture principles.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into solution roadmaps.
- Guide delivery teams with architectural blueprints, integration patterns, and technology choices.
- Identify architectural risks and define mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years in solution architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in leading solution architecture for large-scale retail banking initiatives.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term delivery needs.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior-level presentations.
- Deep understanding of retail banking systems, digital platforms, and SOR applications.
- Expertise in SDLC processes across agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Strong expertise in solution architecture, including systems integration, APIs, and event-driven designs.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms and SaaS ecosystems.
- Strong grounding in data and security architecture.
- Experience with DevOps, containerization, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
