Key Job Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation
- Assist in cleaning, testing, maintaining, prepping, and repairing equipment prior to an event.
- Ensure a flawlessly executed event through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise.
- Comply with all company security and safety measures, adhere to health and safety regulations, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report all health and safety issues to the HSE Manager or Project Manager onsite.
- Work as part of a team on larger scale projects when necessary.

Customer Service
- Strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
- Maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication.
- Meet with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly.
- Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day, fostering the hotel/venue/client relationship.

Technical Ability
- Understand the technical aspects of the job and demonstrate basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve with equipment and software issues.
- Handle equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner.

Systems Knowledge
- Understand company processes, follow procedures, and complete systems entry and paperwork accurately.
- Use equipment sheets to determine the scheduled equipment for setup and strike.
- Interact with other staff and outside vendors for equipment logistics.
- Work with clients to finalize invoices and increase revenue by utilizing floor up-selling techniques.
