Video Technician – OB Video Engineering

The Video Technician will install, operate, and maintain outside broadcast video equipment and systems used during outside broadcast events. This role ensures smooth daily production while adhering to internal policies, procedures, and compliance with UAE laws and regulations.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time, 6 working days per week

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Human Resources Policies and Systems
• Financial and Procurement Procedures Related to the Company
• Knowledge of Video Technology, Signal Flow & Signal Processing
• Operational and Troubleshooting Skills
• Experience with Video Production Equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for video systems and equipment in cooperation with the outside broadcast video team.
• Install and re-install equipment and wiring, including connecting and extending video tools.
• Load and unload video equipment to and from outside broadcast trucks or other transport means.
• Perform testing, maintenance, and repair of outside broadcast video systems to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct preventive and primary maintenance tasks as needed.
• Repair equipment on-site or coordinate with workshops to minimize disruptions.
• Communicate with site engineers to resolve signal and equipment issues.
• Coordinate with operations, production, and news departments for daily outside broadcast coverage.
• Drive company vehicles or generators to work sites as requested.
• Collaborate with all organizational units to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information related to the work.
