Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting VMware virtualization solutions based on business requirements.
- Deploying, configuring, and maintaining VMware Cloud Platform and vSphere infrastructure.
- Developing SDN networks in NSX-T with integration into physical Cisco ACI networks.
- Developing and supporting load balancing as a service through NSX-ALB integrated with vCenter and VMware Cloud Director.
- Monitoring system performance and optimizing configurations for maximum efficiency.
- Implementing and managing backup and recovery solutions for virtualized environments.
- Creating and maintaining disaster recovery plans for VMware infrastructure.
- Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate VMware solutions with existing systems.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience working with VMware technologies, including NSX-T, vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and VMware Cloud Director.
- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, architecture, and best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and management tasks.
- Familiarity with network security practices, firewalls, and access control lists (ACLs) within VMware environments.
