The engineer is responsible for the engineering, design, and development of hardware, software, and networking systems, ensuring adherence to OS support standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting VMware virtualization solutions based on business needs.
- Deploying, configuring, and maintaining VMware Cloud Platform and vSphere infrastructure.
- Developing SDN networks in NSX-T and integrating them with physical Cisco ACI networks.
- Implementing load balancing as a service via NSX-ALB integrated with vCenter and VMware Cloud Director.
- Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing configurations for efficiency.
- Managing access controls and security configurations within VMware environments.
- Creating and maintaining disaster recovery plans for VMware infrastructure and associated technical documentation.
- Collaborating with IT teams to integrate VMware solutions with existing systems.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with VMware technologies, including NSX-T, vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and VMware Cloud Director.
- Experience managing large-scale private cloud environments or working in a cloud service provider is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, architecture, and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with networking and storage technologies related to virtualization.
Certifications:
Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV), VMware Specialist - Cloud Provider, or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) are preferred.
