DXC Technology is seeking a VMware Horizon View VDI Support Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves a variety of responsibilities including:
- Building and updating master Golden Images and integrating applications to ensure compatibility and patch currency.
- Configuring and maintaining Instant Clone/Desktop Composer pools, managing OS refresh schedules, and troubleshooting provisioning or recomposition failures for non-persistent desktop pools.
- Supporting full-clone or user-assigned desktops, handling user-data persistence, and assisting with profile management solutions for persistent desktop pools.
- Serving as Level 2 support for desktop connectivity, performance degradation, printer redirection, and peripheral mapping issues for end-users.
- Coordinating monthly patching of images and application packages, and automating roll-out via App Volumes, MSIX, or PowerShell scripts.
- Utilizing Horizon Performance Tracker and other tools to analyze logon times, resource utilization, and end-user experience metrics.
- Identifying and implementing optimizations in pool management, image build pipelines, and support workflows to enhance efficiency.

Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 3–5 years of experience managing VMware Horizon View environments. Candidates should possess a solid grasp of Windows 10/11 deployment technologies, expertise in App Volumes and UEM, and proficiency in scripting for automation.
