Position

This is a senior level VP role within the Personal Banking Credit unit and it covers end-to-end strategic coordination of the unit's digital and AI initiatives. The role bridges the gap between high-level strategy and technical execution, ensuring that AI and digital transformation investments deliver measurable commercial value. The position aims to drive a cultural shift within the unit in adopting digitization and AI across all functional areas and existing processes. It also supports the company's objectives in digitalizing lending capabilities from a credit lens.

Responsibilities

  • Align with Digitization and AI strategy of Personal Banking credit. Plan roadmap, prioritize initiatives and projects based on impact, risk benefits, and resources available.
  • Partner with the business team in promoting the business agenda of digitization through projects launched by the business teams, such as PL digitization.
  • Participate actively in working groups and update the unit head on progress, risks, and inputs to ensure these are appropriately highlighted in steerco meetings.
  • Provide support to other segments of credit in their digitization agenda and initiatives for the benefit of the larger credit unit.
  • Take ownership of the full lifecycle of initiatives from ideation, project planning, and implementation.
  • The AI initiatives should support in driving portfolio analytics, highlighting portfolio risks and opportunities for business growth.
  • Work with risk teams for advanced AI-driven models for lending.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services with recent hands-on experience in developing digitization and AI projects.
  • Strong understanding of AI and digitization technologies, data science, and business process transformation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important to drive change.
  • Mentor, motivate, and help develop the skills of team members.
