Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of our AI/ML strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data platforms and AI/ML infrastructure
- Guide and mentor a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement AI/ML solutions that drive business value
- Establish best practices for data governance, security, and compliance across all AI/ML initiatives
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI/ML and data technologies, recommending strategic adoptions
- Manage relationships with key technology partners and vendors in the AI/ML space
- Present AI/ML strategies, progress, and results to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Drive the integration of AI/ML capabilities into existing products and services
- Optimize resource allocation and budget management for AI/ML projects
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Master’s Degree/PhD in Computer Science, Econometrics, Statistics, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years in AI/ML or data science, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred.
- Hands-on with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and tools (Python, SQL, Spark).
- Experience in Azure ML tools: Databricks etc.
- Experience with end-to-end model lifecycle management and MLOps.
