ROLE PROFILE
- Participate in setting and reviewing the company’s strategy in collaboration with the management team, including strategic objectives, business plans, and budgets needed for achievement.
- Assess the capabilities of the finance function regarding resources, including technology, processes, and personnel, ensuring the availability of required resources to realize the company’s strategies.
- Lead financial planning and budgeting across the company, establishing financial plans and budgets aligned with strategic objectives and action plans.
- Collaborate with department heads to set their annual objectives, business plans, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Review and discuss departmental budgets with heads of departments to reach mutually agreed budgets that balance department needs with the company’s financial position.
- Review and approve consolidated and individual entities’ financial statements (monthly, quarterly, yearly), including Income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and changes in owners’ equity statements.
- Ensure all financial accounting and reporting adhere to International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Provide input during the development of corporate policies and relevant procedures, monitoring their implementation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance.
- 10+ years of finance experience, including managerial-level responsibilities.
- 5+ years of professional experience in the retail industry.
