ROLE PROFILE
- Participate in setting and reviewing the company’s strategy in collaboration with management, including strategic objectives, business plans, and budgets needed for achievement.
- Assess the finance function’s capabilities regarding resources such as technology, processes, and personnel to ensure all necessary resources are available for realizing the company’s strategies.
- Lead financial planning and budgeting across the company to align financial plans and budgets with the company’s strategic objectives and action plans.
- Collaborate with department heads to establish their annual objectives, business plans, and budgets, cascading from the department’s goals.
- Review and discuss departmental budgets with heads of departments to achieve a mutually agreed-upon budget that balances department needs, action plans, and the company’s financial position.
- Review and approve consolidated and individual entities’ financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, which include income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and statements of changes in owners’ equity.
- Ensure all financial accounting and reporting in the company adheres to International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Provide input in developing the company’s corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor implementation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance
- 10+ years of finance experience, including managerial-level responsibilities
- 5+ years of professional experience in the retail industry
