VP - Hybrid Cloud & Container Platforms

The VP - Hybrid Cloud & Container Platforms is responsible for leading the strategy, architecture, engineering, delivery, and operational stability of the company's Hybrid Cloud and Container Platform estate across on-premises and public cloud environments. The role has end-to-end accountability for the bank’s strategic Hybrid Cloud platform based on Red Hat OpenShift to host both virtual servers and containerized workloads on a unified platform supporting hundreds of business-critical applications. The role is also accountable for Azure AKS Kubernetes platforms as well as Azure Stack HCI on-premise. Additionally, the role encompasses the full lifecycle of the underlying platform stack, including compute, cluster architecture, storage and data services integration, resilience design, automation, observability, and operational governance. This includes managing the Hybrid Cloud data layer built on Pure Storage and Portworx to provide scalable, resilient, and portable platform services across the company's datacenters, while enabling future expansion of the platform into Microsoft Azure to support workload portability and hybrid deployment patterns.
