The main objective of the role is to lead the strategic direction of technology in alignment with corporate objectives. This position is responsible for leveraging digital capabilities to drive operational efficiency, optimize costs, enhance business agility, and foster innovation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and maintenance of a forward-looking IT strategy that supports both short and long-term business goals.
  • Collaborating with executive leadership to ensure IT initiatives support growth and enhance customer-centricity by creating IT roadmaps that address business challenges.
  • Championing digital transformation programs to improve revenue, customer experience, and operational efficiency through automation and intelligent systems.
  • Promoting the adoption of digital tools and capabilities, fostering a culture of digital thinking across the organization.
  • Evaluating and implementing emerging technologies (e.g., AI, data analytics, cloud, cybersecurity) that align with business needs.
  • Fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation and accelerate technology solutions development.
  • Ensuring governance, scalability, and measurable value from IT investments and maintaining oversight on data security and compliance.
  • Managing IT budgets, project milestones, and stakeholder satisfaction while ensuring effective IT support for the business.
  • Coaching and mentoring a high-performing team of IT professionals to achieve high engagement and productivity levels.

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (On-site)

Work Conditions: Full-time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree in engineering or MBA preferred).
  • Fluent in English.
  • 15 years of IT management experience, including a minimum of 5 years in an IT leadership role focused on transformation programs and managing large IT teams.
  • Knowledge of the airline industry and emerging technologies.
  • PMP and SAFe certifications are preferred.
