Key Responsibilities
- Leads the development of a continuous three-year rolling business IT strategy aligned with the corporate strategy, building a strategic roadmap, investment plans, and a strategic IT portfolio.
- Oversees the design and implementation of the I&T operating model, partnering with the enterprise business to deliver digital transformation initiatives.
- Develops a robust selection framework & processes, including ITIL, COBIT, PMI, Scrum, SaFe agile, and DevSecOps, to deliver the required IT capabilities.
- Collaborates with the business to identify strategic business use cases, engaging technology partners to conduct proof of value and enhance digital transformation initiatives.
- Provides leadership and develops the Enterprise Architecture practice within IT, adhering to architectural principles and standards, ensuring reusability and cost optimization with a holistic approach and focus on the ‘big picture.’
- Oversees the governance of IT Portfolio Management, seeking investment approvals, managing the project office, and ensuring projects are delivered within strict quality, budget, and time constraints.
- Sources and develops strategic relationships with technology partners to foster an innovation ecosystem within IT, extending professional services to develop in-house skills on emerging technologies and innovative business solutions.
- Assists in the development of training programs aimed at upskilling and managing IT talent, encouraging creative recognition and reward programs, nurturing top performers, and promoting a culture of high performance with a focus on the UAE national development programme.
- Focuses on launching the ‘Innovation Lab,’ developing the IT innovation ecosystem initiative by creating strategic partnerships with universities, Dubai-based Innovation Labs, and startups/accelerators. Engages in presenting business problems to select startup partners and incubating technology-led innovative solutions leading to successful product implementations.
- Ensures vendor products align with architecture standards while focusing on continuous improvements and application modernization initiatives to eliminate/reduce technology debt and ensure a future-proof IT landscape.
Qualifications
- 15+ years’ experience across diverse IT functions, including 10+ years in IT leadership roles within a large multinational organization, preferably in the airline industry.
- Proven experience developing and executing IT strategy, architecture, and project portfolio governance.
- Experience in developing and leading innovation programmes within a large corporate environment.
- Experience in developing innovation ecosystems and managing strategic partnerships.
- Experience leading talent management and development programmes within an IT function.

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the company and diligently reports any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in day-to-day business operations.
