Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of payment operations, ensuring efficiency and strategic alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of professionals, ensuring operational excellence and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the payments team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Define and implement strategies for payment optimization, cost reduction, and transaction success rate improvements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, working closely with the compliance team to address risks and mitigate fraud.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with payment service providers, banks, and other financial institutions, negotiating contracts to secure optimal terms and expand payment capabilities.
- Manage payment data to identify trends and areas for improvement; generate reports on payment performance including transaction volumes, success rates, and costs.
- Collaborate with development, product, and customer support teams to enhance payment-related processes and address any issues that arise.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and launch new payment products and services.
- Successfully managed hundreds of million dollars in monthly iGaming transaction volume across multiple PSPs, maintaining strong, strategic relationships with PSP leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years in payments management mandatory in the iGaming industry.
- Extensive expertise in payment systems, gateways, and transaction processing.
- Strong data analysis skills to monitor trends and make data-driven improvements to the payment processes.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a track record of driving results in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex payment strategies into actionable plans.
- Proficiency in payment processing platforms and related software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, emphasizing operational efficiency and strategic growth.
- Previous experience with iGaming payment solutions is mandatory.
- Knowledge of global payment regulations and compliance standards is essential.
