About the role:
A Sales Vice President is sought to lead commercial growth across the newly created Middle East, Türkiye and Africa (META) region, which presents one of the company's most significant growth opportunities. This region is characterized by infrastructure investment, electrification, energy transition, and digitalization, with rapidly scaling markets in the Middle East, a stable business in Türkiye, and significant untapped potential across Africa. What you’ll do:

Set the regional growth strategy

  • Develop and execute one cohesive META sales strategy, translating regional potential into priorities across the Middle East, Türkiye and Africa.
  • Define the regional organization, governance, and operating rhythm needed to scale, with clear accountability across country and cluster leaders.
  • Turn market insight into go-to-market and investment priorities, balancing growth with disciplined returns, capability, and commercial efficiency.

Accelerate sales and market expansion

  • Accelerate profitable growth across META, scaling the Middle East, strengthening African markets, and leveraging Türkiye and regional key accounts.
  • Build executive relationships with customers, governments, consultants, contractors, panel builders, distributors, installers, and strategic partners across complex ecosystems.
  • Lead major negotiations across hyperscale data centre, industrial, utility, and infrastructure opportunities, expanding direct, channel, and ecosystem routes to market.

Deliver integrated customer solutions

  • Bring the company's businesses together around a total-portfolio mindset, particularly where regional key accounts and locally led opportunities intersect.
  • Mobilize sales, segment, marketing, and functional partners to maximize cross-regional opportunities and deliver a consistent customer experience.
  • Create clearer ownership and faster, market-led decisions while maintaining alignment with central segment and EMEA teams.

Strengthen commercial performance

  • Own regional investment governance, directing resources and capability towards markets and opportunities with the greatest strategic value and return.
  • Advance commercial excellence across sales effectiveness, pipeline management, forecasting, pricing, and strategic account management.
  • Establish clear metrics, growth targets, and operating reviews that reinforce accountability, connect strategy with execution, and improve performance.

Build a high-performing regional organisation

  • Lead and develop country and cluster leaders across a geographically dispersed sales organization, strengthening capability, succession, and leadership depth.
  • Create an inclusive culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, ownership, and performance excellence across countries and organizational boundaries.
  • Represent META in executive leadership discussions, align with EMEA priorities, and contribute to the company's long-term regional growth and positioning.

What you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience leading sales across multiple countries or clusters in a complex, growth-oriented industrial or technology business of significant scale.
  • A record of delivering double-digit, profitable growth, supported by strong P&L management, investment prioritization, and major-deal leadership.
  • Experience living or working in the Middle East, with an understanding of the region’s varied market, cultural, and channel dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success as a leader of leaders, shaping organizations with multiple management layers and developing high-performing, diverse teams.
  • Experience in the electrical industry or a comparable project-led environment, selling directly and through distributors, panel builders, contractors, and installers.
  • The strategic range to design an organization and growth roadmap, combined with the commercial judgement and pace to execute through a complex matrix.

Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of relevant professional experience, including substantial experience in commercial leadership.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in a senior management role in a dynamic, growth-oriented industry and in roles of comparable size and scope.

How you'll lead:
The company's Culture Model calls on leaders to Win Together, Think Big, and Act Boldly. In this role, that means:

Win Together - Build trust across customers, partners, business units, and functions. Create alignment across countries and cultures while developing an inclusive, accountable, and high-performing regional team.

Think Big - Set an ambitious META growth agenda, connect market insight to strategic choices, and bring the full company's portfolio together around scalable customer solutions.

Act Boldly - Prioritize decisively, lead major opportunities and negotiations, and challenge complexity that slows growth, customer responsiveness, or execution.

Across all three, you will combine commercial judgement, strategic leadership, analytical rigour, and a strong commitment to customers, people, and performance.
