GovCIO is currently hiring for a VTC Technician III. This position involves providing technical advice and guidance on the installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of electrical products. Responsibilities include:
- Checking, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems for conformance to specifications.
- Performing repair, removal, and reinstallation of wiring as necessary.
- Cutting wire to length, stripping insulation from wire ends, and insulating connections with plastic sleeves.
- Connecting complex electrical systems to fixtures and accessories such as transformers, instrument panels, and switchboards.
- Monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical control procedures.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School with 6 - 9 years of experience (or equivalent).
- Certifications:
- DoD 8570.01-M Security+
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - SharePoint and SharePoint Server
- Microsoft Certified Information Technology - SharePoint Administrator
- Experience:
- Lead-level supervisory and practical experience in installation, repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance of VTC bridge systems or equipment.
- Expert experience in maintaining/troubleshooting TMS software and Cisco devices (Codecs and MCUs, 53XX Series).
- Proficient with Cisco network enterprise devices (VCS-Control, VCS-Expressway, Expressway Core and Edge), CR Codecs (C/SX/MX/Spark-Series), as well as audio and multimedia systems.
