Position

The Associate Offensive Cybersecurity Consultant role involves engaging in a wide range of activities related to cybersecurity and penetration testing. Key areas of involvement include:

  • Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing services for web applications.
  • Web application audits.
  • Mobile application penetration testing (iOS & Android).
  • Source code review and software assurance maturity audits.
  • Red teaming and infrastructure security assessment.
  • Ability to perform internal and external penetration testing.
  • Vulnerability research.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing as per the company’s methodology and project scope.
  • Populate the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing knowledge base with newly learned techniques, attacks, or zero-day findings.
  • Update the company's penetration testing guidelines by documenting newly added attacks and procedures in the methodology.
  • Attend technical customer meetings.
  • Research new threats.
  • Perform security assessments independently.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a penetration tester.
  • Bachelor or MSc in Computer Science or a relevant degree.
  • Knowledge in web-based programming.
  • Technical writing skills (including articles, demonstrations, reports, and technical blogs).
  • OSCP or OSCE certification is required; SANS certifications are optional.
  • Good vision, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Software development skills with the ability to quickly adapt to any programming language as needed.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Fast learner, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Team player.
