What You'll Do
- Research, design, and develop operationally relevant wargames within the Air Maneuver Dominance / Advanced Capabilities team, collaborating directly with EDGE and the Emirati Ministry of Defense to translate customer objectives and operational problems into structured, immersive wargames. You will own scenario design end-to-end, including operational context, orders of battle, friendly and adversary forces, objectives, timelines, and victory conditions.
- Run and facilitate in-depth multi-day Wargaming Exercises, serving as the designer and control cell lead for planning, preparation, execution, and recovery. You will manage gameplay, adjudicate outcomes, and adapt scenarios in real time to align with customer learning objectives.
- Build and maintain a reusable library of wargame scenarios, models, and content in the company's M&S and AR/VR software, enhancing processes across various teams to ensure scalability and fidelity in events.
- Design and implement structured After-Action Reviews and user feedback loops to gather insights and prioritize improvements to scenarios and event delivery.
- Provide input to product and engineering teams to enhance the company's wargaming, mission simulation, and Virtual Warfare products, advocating for necessary tools and content to streamline the design process.
- Support end-users in understanding advanced warfare concepts through the development of engaging wargame content and effective event delivery.
- Contribute to the Advanced Capabilities team, working alongside cross-functional representatives to improve the design and delivery of wargames across various scales.

Abu Dhabi, UAE (initially in London, UK while the simulation center is being constructed)
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience designing, developing, and running wargames or operational training scenarios across diverse clients and operational environments.
- Demonstrated comfort communicating effectively internally and externally.
- Experience with scenario design, problem-solving, and ensuring seamless customer experiences.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain country background check and security clearance.
- Willingness to travel and collaborate with teammates in the UAE, UK, and USA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wargaming or simulation software such as AFSIM, SIMDIS, or comparable platforms.
- Familiarity with military operations, tactics, and procedures for friendly and adversarial forces.
- Experience using collaboration tools like Confluence, Jira, and MS Office.
- Previous military or government experience in wargaming or exercise design is a plus.
