Job Description:
We are on the hunt for the Senior Backend Engineer who brings to the table a deep expertise in backend development, bolstered by a proficiency in TypeScript and a keen understanding of Web3 technologies (Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos SDK). The successful candidate will be recognized for their ability to engineer robust, scalable backend solutions and will have a flair for integrating blockchain technologies into our innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development of secure, scalable backend systems
- Employ TypeScript to craft clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Knowledge of Postgres, Redis, Prisma ORM, TRPC, Next.js, Viem, Wagmi
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Web3 to enhance our crypto blockchain initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of web applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest backend development trends and technologies, particularly those relating to blockchain.
- Ensure the highest standards of security and data protection are met across all backend systems.
- Diagnose and address any backend issues, optimizing for speed and scalability.
- Contribute to the architectural and design decisions, aiming for robustness and longevity in our technological solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a proven proficiency in TypeScript.
- Strong foundation in Web3 technologies, with specific experience in Ethereum, including familiarity with smart contracts, and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
- Experience with Node.js and related frameworks that complement TypeScript development.
- Knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and their application in building scalable applications.
- Demonstrated ability to develop secure APIs and integrate with various web services.
- An understanding of blockchain technology and its practical applications in developing solutions.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
